Industry Collaborations With UPES School of Health Sciences
UPES partners with Drishti Eye Institute
Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UPES and Drishti Eye Institute. This collaboration will provide clinical and experiential training to students. Also, experts from the institute will come to UPES campus as guest faculty for lectures and student interaction.
Drishti Eye Institute was established in the year 1994, with a vision to fulfill the need for super specialty eye care services in Dehradun. The institute is recognized as one of the leading centres for patient care, vision research and physician education in North India.
The institute attracts patients from India and overseas making it a
leading tertiary care referral eye hospital. Today, Drishti Eye Institute is
considered as one of the world’s premier ophthalmic treatment, research and
education centres. The institute has up-to-date facilities with computerized,
electronically-activated equipment designed for maximum precision, accuracy and
patient comfort.
The internationally-renowned physicians possess the clinical and surgical
expertise to provide consultations and medical surgical care for complex eye-related
conditions. The team comprises eye surgeons, highly experienced in their

UPES partners with Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences
Another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UPES and Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences.
Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, a unit of Padmanabh Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., is a 140-bedded multi-super-specialty tertiary care hospital. The institute focuses on medical and surgical super specialties of neurosciences, cardiac sciences, gastro sciences, renal sciences, critical care, ortho-trauma, mother and child, ophthalmic, ENT and much more. It is a patient-centric hospital, providing quality healthcare by compassionate professionals, in full compliance with international standards and guidelines.
This partnership will benefit the students who will have the opportunity for experiential training. Industry experts from Synergy will visit the campus as guest faculty for lectures and student interaction.
