UPES launched a dedicated mobile app for its students and applicants. The app has been meticulously designed to facilitate online learning and help students get an overview of all things UPES

In this digital age, connecting with students to help them chalk out their educational journey has been UPES’ top priority. UPES has always pioneered a digital-first mindset. Thanks to this, during the COVID-19 crisis, it was able to seamlessly transition to online learning replete with webinars, masterclasses, and online classrooms. Continuing with this, UPES also launched a dedicated mobile app for its students and applicants.

The app has been meticulously designed to facilitate online learning and help students get an overview of all things UPES. Students are greeted with the most critical and recent announcements. The home screen also shows them their application status, along with details on the next steps. Students can also experience a 360-degree virtual tour of the sprawling campus right from their mobile! An ingenious way to welcome applicants and students despite the lockdown restrictions.

The home tab also addresses common questions that every parent and student have such as campus facilities. The app has a fluid user experience, and the app shows the various facilities through visually-appealing photos supplemented by details. Every aspect of UPES’ state-of-the-art facilities has been incorporated in the app, from classrooms to café, from hostels to labs.

The ‘Spotlight’ section in the app is a hub of all the recent developments of the university, faculty, students, and alumni – the Shakti scholarship, student achievements, or insightful articles by faculty and students. Each module has been meticulously placed for maximum visibility and engagement.

True to UPES’ core philosophy of ‘Learning Never Stops,’ the ‘Learn’ section of the app collates all the learning modules – articles, videos, webinars – in one place. Students can easily read research-based articles, watch curriculum relevant videos, and attend webinars hosted by industry experts. What is more, past webinars are archived so students can watch them as often as they want!

The ‘Live’ section in the app caters to the queries and concerns parents and students have. It includes campus facilities, campus events, student achievements, alumni stories, and parent stories. The ‘alumni stories’ and ‘parent stories’ are incredibly rich in their content, to help parents and students get a holistic understanding of the culture and values of UPES.

‘Connect’ and ‘Chat’ sections assist applicants in getting in touch with the advisors, faculty, and alumni to seek answers to their queries. The discussion forum is open for all, and applicants can put up their questions to be answered.

The app is a testament to UPES’ digital-native culture and will be of immense help to both students and applicants. It will help them understand the culture of UPES, interact with industry experts, understand the numerous specializations through curated articles, get to know future batchmates, and track their application.
